Your donation will go towards these and other critically important activities:
  • Control of feral animals that prey on and compete with our wetland wildlife
  • Control of weeds and other invasive species that threaten our local native flora
  • Equipping our volunteers to conserve and protect our wetlands
  • Provision of resources to support raising awareness of wetland issues through visits by school and community groups, educators, policy makers and other community and interest groups
  • Other on-ground works such as: 
    provision of nest boxes for bats, birds and frogs; 
    construction of bird roosting sites in and around the wetland;
    protection cages for turtle nest sites; 
    surveying and recording important sites such as nest sites; 
    strategic revegetation;
    anti-erosion measures such as bunds, diversion banks and channels; 
    purchase of important maintenance equipment such as mowers, whipper-snippers and chainsaws; 
    provision of safety equipment.
