Events AGM 2023 The Annual General Meeting for the Wetlands Habitat (Paiwalla) Assoc. Inc. will be held at the Wetland on Sunday 29th October, 2023 at 2pm. A BBQ lunch will be available at 12 noon. Please bring a salad to share, and your own drinks. Pleaase advise of your attendance for catering purposes.
The WETLAND is open again for visitors. The river peaked around mid-January and the water has now receded and clean-up work is in full swing. Camping Rules
Trust members have priority
Outsiders wanting to camp must be recommended by a member. This members is then responsible for following up any issues related to camping. This includes dealing with breeches of rules, poor camping etiquette and following up damage and donations.
It is expected that non-members make a donation towards maintenance and upkeep of the wetland site.
There are a few no's.
No unaccompanied children in the wetland
No motor bikes, quad-bikes or jet-skis in Paiwalla or Paiwalla North.
No shooting in the wetland.
Camping on Stony Landing is only permitted if a member is present.
Non-members can book up to 2 months in advance.
