WETLAND CLOSED
THE WETLAND WILL BE CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE DUE TO HIGH RIVER LEVELS

WETLAND CLOSURE

We advise that the Paiwalla Wetland is closed until further notice.

Currently a substantial portion of the Wetland is subject to flooding making it unsafe to enter.  Furthermore, it will not be until the floodwaters recede that we will be able to determine what damage has occurred.  Once we have identified any damage and have remediated such damage, we will reopen the Wetland.  As soon as we can estimate the time of reopening, we will let you know.

However, as the water is well above our levee banks it could be some time before the area is accessible, and the levees can take a walker and we can get into the shed again.
