Review 2020 ART Weekend @ Paiwalla 'Experimenting with Art in Nature' held October long-weekend 2020 Following the success of our previous Art event in 2019, twenty-six campers spent the weekend in the inspirational surroundings of the wetland. With the guidance of artist Maxie Ashton, about half of those expressed there connection with nature on canvas. Some came with little or no experience in the medium but it was all about 'having a go'. Click here to read feedback written by a few.
Outsiders wanting to camp must be recommended by a member. This members is then responsible for following up any issues related to camping. This includes dealing with breeches of rules, poor camping etiquette and following up damage and donations.
It is expected that non-members make a donation towards maintenance and upkeep of the wetland site.
There are a few no's.
No unaccompanied children in the wetland
No motor bikes, quad-bikes or jet-skis in Paiwalla or Paiwalla North.
No shooting in the wetland.
Camping on Stony Landing is only permitted if a member is present.
Non-members can book up to 2 months in advance.
