The WETLAND
​is open again for visitors.

 The river peaked around mid-January and the water has now receded and clean-up work is in full swing. The levee is now passable to foot traffic with great care.

Camping Rules
  • Trust members have priority
  • Outsiders wanting to camp must be recommended by a member. This members is then responsible for following up any issues related to camping. This includes dealing with breeches of rules, poor camping etiquette and following up damage and donations.
  • It is expected that non-members make a donation towards maintenance and upkeep of the wetland site.
There are a few no's. 
  • No unaccompanied children in the wetland 
  • No motor bikes, quad-bikes or jet-skis in Paiwalla or Paiwalla North. 
  • No shooting in the wetland.
  • Camping on Stony Landing is only permitted if a member is present.​
  • Non-members can book up to 2 months in advance.
